The event titled “Innovative Feed Development”, organized by Agrothraki SA – Stavrakaras Panagiotis Agricultural Products Trading with the support of ena Development Consultants and in collaboration with the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), was completed successfully.
The event took place on Friday, January 13, 2023, at #enahub, a meeting point for people and ideas from every sector, with a shared goal of growth, education, innovation and entrepreneurship. Its purpose was, on the one hand, to inform the public about the challenges and opportunities for developing innovative activities and financing in livestock farming, agriculture and agri-food and, on the other, to present the results of the research carried out by Agrothraki SA in collaboration with the National Technical University of Athens under the measure “Investment Plans for Innovation, Research & Development in the RIS3 priority sector” of the Operational Program “Eastern Macedonia & Thrace” (NSRF 2014–2020).
The event was organized by #enaevents, a service of ena Development Consultants that designs and delivers corporate, educational, conference and informational events, in person, hybrid and remote, in the physical and digital world.
During the event's main presentations, NTUA researcher Nadia Laina presented remotely (via Zoom) both the research programs NTUA takes part in and the project it carried out with Agrothraki SA, along with the important results of the research conducted within it.
A welcome address was given by the Chairman & CEO of Agrothraki SA, Panagiotis Stavrakaras, who thanked the National Technical University of Athens for the excellent collaboration and the ena Development Consultants team for its continuous support throughout the project.
The General Manager and Head of Primary Sector Development Strategy at ena Development Consultants, Dimitris Bardakidis, presented to the audience the current challenges for the growth of the agricultural sector, referring to the new Common Agricultural Policy and the financing opportunities offered by the Rural Development Program (RDP) measures expected in the near future.
Next to speak was Primary Sector Development Consultant Fanis Koutrouvelis, who told attendees about the key points of one of the most important RDP financing measures, due to “open” soon: the Improvement Plans.
Finally, European Programs Development Consultant Filio Karampini covered the main points of the feasibility study for the development of the new innovative feeds carried out within the project.
