The event titled “Innovation in kiwifruit cultivation”, organized by the Agricultural Cooperative “Nestos” with the support of ena Development Consultants, was completed successfully.

The event took place on December 15, 2021, at the Chrysoupoli Municipal Amphitheater. Its purpose was, on the one hand, to inform the public about the current challenges in kiwifruit cultivation and, on the other, to present the results of the research carried out by the Nestos Agricultural Cooperative in collaboration with the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki under the measure “Investment Plans for Innovation, Research & Development in the Agri-food sector” of the Operational Program “Eastern Macedonia & Thrace” (NSRF 2014–2020).

The event's keynote speaker was Mr. Athanasios Molassiotis, professor and director of the Pomology laboratory at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. A welcome address was given by the President of the Agricultural Cooperative “Nestos”, while Ms. Sissy Baziana, representing ena Development Consultants, spoke to participants about innovation in Agri-food.

Participants followed the event both live at the venue and via online livestreaming. At the close of the event, Mr. Molassiotis answered the issues and questions raised by those in the room.

The event was delivered by #enaevents, a service of ena Development Consultants that designs and organizes physical, digital and hybrid events.
