ena Development Consultants, Supporting Body of the eMT cluster, the first Innovation & Technology cluster in the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, was delighted to welcome the cluster's Member companies to its premises in Xanthi.
The “First eMT cluster Members Meeting” took place on Friday, November 25, at #enahub, a meeting point for people and ideas from every sector, with a shared goal of growth, education, innovation and entrepreneurship.
The goal of the meeting of the 15 advanced technology solution companies that make up the eMT cluster was the strategic planning of the development initiatives the cluster will undertake to strengthen entrepreneurship and competitiveness in the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace.
The 15 member businesses of the eMT cluster, together with their subcontractors, are expected to form an advanced technology hub aimed primarily at the region's businesses and organizations, offering them:
- Complete technology solutions. The eMT cluster will cover every modern need of Local Government Organizations, Commercial, Manufacturing and Industrial businesses, Tourism and Business sector companies, educational organizations and collective bodies such as Chambers and Cooperatives, regardless of business size.
- A complete service offering. Advanced technologies will be combined with the necessary studies, business consulting, training and program management, so that a business has, in one place, all the work required for its technological transformation and for strengthening the innovation that will support its business plans.
- Proximity. The eMT cluster will operate within the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace and will ensure a fast response to businesses' expected broader needs. The eMT cluster also has the right support team, which businesses and organizations can turn to for support with their needs and for finding the right partners.
The meeting was addressed by Mr. Sokratis Xynidis, Vice President of the Development Agency of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, who expressed the Region's support for the development initiatives of the eMT cluster and the need to further strengthen innovation and entrepreneurship, both in the Xanthi area and in the wider Region.
Mr. Stavros Amoiras, Director of Strategic Planning and Development and Co-founder of ena Development Consultants, welcomed the representatives of the eMT cluster Members to Xanthi and presented the range of services ena offers. He also highlighted the collaboration opportunities developing among the eMT cluster Members and the need to strengthen them further.
Next, Mr. Giorgos Papastamatiou, Director of Strategic Planning of the eMT cluster, and Mr. Stelios Kotopoulos, Research Program Development Consultant at ena Development Consultants, opened the technical sessions of the meeting by presenting the topics and processes for discussion.
During the First Meeting of the eMT cluster Members, the cluster's strategic priorities were confirmed; in short, strengthening innovation and supporting businesses so that they can move more safely and quickly through their digital transformation.
The hybrid meeting hosted, in person and remotely, representatives of the cluster's Member companies: Alpha Plan Consultants, Geosense, Explicit AI, ATC, OTS, MyIP net-Works, Seems, Genet, Vertitech, Act4energy, FM Epicheirein, Ten06, EFB, Cogninn and Lioncode.
During the breaks between technical sessions, the representatives of the eMT cluster Member companies had the chance to taste traditional pies and cured meats, as well as local PDO cheeses.
The meeting was followed by a special tour of the Old Town and the Folklore & Historical Museum of Xanthi by the Progressive Union of Xanthi, and a meal of traditional flavors and local wines, which offered an opportunity for further networking and interaction among the Members.
