For the second year running, ena Development Consultants, through #enaevents and in collaboration with StartUp Greece, is organising a leading event dedicated to the agri-food sector and innovation: Startup Day 2025: Innovation in Agri-Food.
The event takes place at #enahub (3rd km Xanthi – Kavala), a meeting point for people and ideas that brings together entrepreneurs, farmers, researchers, startups and students with a shared goal of sustainable growth.
Startup Day focuses on the new technologies and practices changing agriculture, food production and distribution. Participants will be able to see practical sustainability solutions, discover the role of artificial intelligence and digital tools in rural development, learn about new farming trends such as precision farming and low-carbon crops, and explore options for microfinance, investment and partnerships.
The event is aimed at students and researchers who want to be inspired by case studies and research projects put into practice, young farmers who want to bring cutting-edge technology into their production, businesses and startups looking for new growth opportunities in agrifood, and academics and organisations taking part in the dialogue on the future of sustainable agriculture.
In Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, agri-food is a pillar of the economy, but it needs support to meet today’s challenges: limited technology uptake, productivity problems, the need for green practices, and a cultural diversity that creates new markets as well as particular demands. Through AgriFood Startup Day 2025, ena Development Consultants – a member of EIT Food Hub Greece – continues its mission to strengthen entrepreneurship, innovation and sustainability in the agri-food sector, creating prospects for future growth.
