The event “Funding tools for my business”, co-organised by ena Development Consultants and the #RemicroLOCAL project team of the Centre for Business and Cultural Development (KEPA), was successfully completed.
The event took place on Wednesday, 2 November 2022, at the welcoming premises of the business support facility Lab.40, in Drama.
Participants were welcomed by the facility's manager, Ms Foteini Dimiou. Through a short presentation, Ms Dimiou informed the audience about the activities of Lab.40.
Next, the floor was taken by the event's first speaker, Mr Neoklis Stamkos, Head of the Microcredit department of the Centre for Business and Cultural Development (KEPA). Mr Stamkos gave a brief overview of the funding tools available to businesses in Greece, as well as the new non-bank financing methods that have recently emerged in the country.
The event was closed with a presentation by Mr Nikos Charalampogiannis, Coordinator of Development Law & European Programmes Advisory Services at ena Development Consultants. Mr Charalampogiannis presented the key points of the New Development Law 4887/2022 and then presented the 2 open calls under the development law concerning the schemes “Agri-food - Primary Production and Processing of Agricultural Products - Fisheries - Aquaculture” and “Support for Tourism Investments”, along with their details. With great interest and pertinent questions, the audience took part in the constructive dialogue that followed on the Development Law. At the end of the event, interested participants had the opportunity to talk informally with the speakers about their business ideas and to explore how they can use the funding tools presented, and in particular the New Development Law, to develop them. ena Development Consultants would like to thank everyone who contributed to organising the event, and in particular #RemicroLOCAL for the excellent collaboration, Lab.40 for its warm hospitality and all those who honoured the event with their presence.
