The Region of Eastern Macedonia & Thrace and TIF – HELEXPO SA invite you to a press conference on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 13:30, in the Meeting Room of the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace (1 Kakoulidi St., 1st floor, Komotini), ahead of the 24th National Trade Fair “Eastern Macedonia–Thrace 2016”, to be held on November 25–27, 2016, at the International Exhibition Center of Eastern Macedonia–Thrace, in the Komotini Industrial Area.
The National Trade Fair “Eastern Macedonia – Thrace”, held at the International Exhibition Center of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace (DEKAMATH) in Komotini from November 25 to 27, 2016, is a key development tool that supports and promotes local businesses and the products of the area and the whole region, with a reach well beyond it.
At the heart of this year's fair, co-organized by TIF-Helexpo and the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, is local production, led by food and beverages, agricultural products and traditional goods, along with sectors such as furniture, heating, tires, household goods and more.
The National Trade Fair “Eastern Macedonia Thrace” is the main economic event of the wider area, as well as a reliable lever for growth, for promoting local production and for opening channels of communication with neighboring countries. This year's fair will host a special feature on Greek drinks, to promote and showcase them, alongside a presentation of local businesses active in this sector. The fair is accompanied by many parallel events, such as tastings of drinks and traditional local dishes.
