A few words about Remicro LOCAL
The cross-border project REMICRO LOCAL is carried out by the Center for Business & Cultural Development – KEPA, under the INTERREG V-A Greece – Bulgaria 2014–2020 Cooperation Program. The project's overall goal is to develop a cross-border partnership of business support bodies that will exchange good practices and work together to jointly address the challenge of strengthening existing and new businesses in the cross-border area.
In particular, great weight is given to supporting small businesses by connecting them with microcredit providers, to providing advisory support and mentoring sessions, to creating an e-matching platform (connecting entrepreneurs across the cross-border area), and to holding thematic workshops for small businesses and startuppers. To this end, KEPA has set up an information office – the Remicro LOCAL Info Point – based in Kavala, which owners and executives of small and very small businesses, second-chance entrepreneurs and members of social enterprises active in the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace can turn to.
