We are forwarding an invitation to an information event organized by the Organic Products Network in collaboration with Agroapps PC, on Friday, February 3 at 17:00 at the Mediterranean Palace hotel in Thessaloniki.
The event will consist of two parts:
The first part will present the European project KATANA, which will make a total of 1.2 million euros available for developing innovative products and services in the agri-food sector, and will discuss funding mechanisms and innovative products. Taking part in the event will be:
– Mr. Riivo Anton, investor and founder of the consultancy CIVITTA
– Mr. Sotiris Bantas, founder & CEO of Centaur Technologies, which has received funding from an American investor and an Israeli fund.
– Mr. Evangelos Vergos and his team from the American Farm School, who are about to launch a new innovative product.
In the second part of the event, the KATANA team will help participants create their own videos and submit them to the KATANA platform to compete for €100,000 in funding. Ms. Nikoleta Avgita of th!nkgreen Natural Goods, a Network member, has already expressed interest in KATANA, and on the day a video will be made presenting her idea.
According to the organizers, anyone interested in submitting their idea to KATANA simply needs to create a 2-minute video and submit it to the online platform by 28/02.
