Democritus University of Thrace and the European Information Center Europe Direct Xanthi are holding a workshop on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at the “Georgios Papadriellis” Amphitheater of the DPESS on the Komotini University Campus, titled “Research in the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace: Synergies for Innovation and Knowledge, Tools for Social Well-being”.
The event will be held with the participation of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Research and Innovation, the Special Managing Authority and the research bodies of the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace.
It is aimed at the entire University and Research community of our Region, as well as the stakeholders with whom we are called upon to shape joint actions in this context.
The purpose of the workshop is to provide information on EU policies and priorities and to record the conditions for drawing up a smart Research Strategy for the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, both for the immediate future and for the next support framework.
