ena Development Consultants was delighted to be hosted at the modern multi-purpose venue Joist Innovation Park in Larissa on Friday, February 10 and Saturday, February 11, 2023.
The Joist Innovation Park hosted the Innovent Forum, the first hybrid Science and Technology Exhibition (in person and online), with a large number of exhibitors and visitors from Greece and abroad.
The exhibitors at the Innovent Forum presented their technological and scientific achievements in Health Technology, Agri-food Technology, Biotechnology, Educational Technology, Energy, Construction, Governance Technology, Smart Cities and Gaming.
ena Development Consultants took part in the Innovent Forum as the Supporting Body of the eMT cluster, the first Innovation & Technology cluster in the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, informing organizations, businesses and general visitors about the digital transformation solutions the cluster offers.
Stavros Amoiras, co-founder & Director of Strategic Planning & Development at ena Development Consultants and Chair of the Steering Committee of the eMT cluster, took part in the session “From the lab to the market: The path to sparking innovation”, where he presented ena's role in the flagship projects it takes part in: the eMT cluster, EDIH #DigiAgriFood and Thinc Thrace incubator. Mr. Amoiras praised the growth of the startup ecosystem in Greece and in the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, while stressing the prospects for further development, so that this growth can accelerate and connect with the real market.
The purpose and scope of the eMT cluster, with ena Development Consultants as its Supporting Body, were presented by Giorgos Papastamatiou, Coordinator of the eMT cluster and CEO of Ten06. In the session titled “Presentation of Good Practices”, Mr. Papastamatiou stressed the eMT cluster's aim of developing a complete innovation and entrepreneurship network that covers all the technology needs of an organization or business, while offering innovative technology solutions.
The eMT cluster helps businesses of every size gain fast access to technology (Fast digital onboarding) in Agri-food, Manufacturing and Industry, Smart Cities and Tourism, and Human Resources Training, through the eMTMetaplatform.
The first university incubator in Northern Greece, Thinc Thrace incubator, in which ena Development Consultants takes part as contractor together with FM EPICHEIREIN, had the opportunity to be presented to the Innovent Forum audience by Michalis Pouspourikas, co-founder of FM EPICHEIREIN, in the workshop titled “From Idea to success: Starting my own business”.
Thinc Thrace incubator is aimed at people with innovative and groundbreaking ideas who, with the right, specialized support from experts in their first steps, have the opportunity to turn their ideas into a dynamic new business.
Dimitris Bardakidis, co-founder, General Manager and Head of Primary Sector Development Strategy at ena Development Consultants, took part in the session titled “How do Digital Innovation Hubs and Public Bodies contribute to the growth of Startup entrepreneurship and Technology?”
In the presence of the Mayor of Larissa, Apostolos Kalogiannis, the Secretary General for Research and Innovation, Athanasios Kyriazis, and the CEO of Elevate Greece, Michalis Dritsas, as well as representatives of four of the seven European Digital Innovation Hubs in Greece, Mr. Bardakidis presented the scope and services of #DigiAgriFood.
Dimitris Bardakidis, Quality & Risk Manager of #DigiAgriFood, presented the services expected to benefit thousands of end users and businesses active in the agri-food sector in the Regions of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, Central Macedonia, Western Macedonia, Epirus and Thessaly, in their digital transformation, over the 3+4 years of the project.
The #DigiAgriFood hub aims to facilitate the digital and green transformation of the entire Agri-food value chain, with direct benefits for citizens, SMEs and the public sector.
The #DigiAgriFood consortium, led by Democritus University of Thrace, also includes the University of Thessaly, the Institute of Bio-Economy and Agri-Technology (iBO) of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH), Perrotis College of the American Farm School, the Region of Eastern Macedonia & Thrace and ena Development Consultants.
At the Innovent Forum organized by Joist, we were delighted to talk and network with businesses and organizations from Greece and abroad, and to share news of the flagship projects ena Development Consultants takes part in.
We also had the opportunity to discover groundbreaking products and services, interact with leading exhibitors and the startup community, learn more about science and technological developments in business, and attend and take part in excellent talks and interesting workshops.
