At ena Development Consultants, we had the opportunity and the great pleasure of attending a special Digital Marketing seminar by Pro Seminars. This seminar, part of a series of Smart Conferences in a project with the highly motivating title “2018: This is my year”, was held at the welcoming Lazart Hotel in Thessaloniki and was a truly unique hands-on experience with some of the most popular social media of our time, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn, as well as digital marketing in general.
The conference was opened by Ms. Christina Douzkogianni, who spoke to us about YouTube and how we can grow our business and our personal image with the power of video through the platform's lively community. Christina is a passionate YouTuber with 2 channels much loved by the public: the creative Imagine Hearts and Make Video Greece, where she shares tips with aspiring YouTubers to help them make their own successful videos.
The baton for the Instagram section was taken by Marketer and Learning Experience Consultant Ms. Foteini Vavitsa, who shared with us useful information, techniques and experiences, as well as the secret recipe for success on Instagram for both our personal and our professional profiles. A particularly experienced LinkedIn user, mBIT-certified Personal & Executive Coach Ms. Eirini Nikolaidou, spoke to us about the platform and what it can do. Drawing on her many years of experience in human resources development, she went beyond the narrow limits of “LinkedIn: Business Up your Image”, the original topic, to share valuable tips on projecting a more professional image both online and offline. The event was closed by charismatic business coach Mr. Tolis Fotitzidis, who got us “thinking” in the best sense and led us to reconsider our views on Facebook as a marketing tool, and more. He didn't hesitate to give us extremely useful tips on marketing ourselves and our business in the physical and digital world.
