For the second year in a row, EESTEC held the Career Day 2 event on May 20, 2017, focused on career guidance and introducing students to potential future employers.
The event's guest was economist and founder of ena Development Consultants, Mr. Stavros Amoiras.
In his talk, he described the main activities of #enateam and the services it provides, as follows:

#enatraining: Training activities for entrepreneurs, prospective entrepreneurs and business executives.
#enafunding: Studies and funding proposals for businesses.
#enapublic: Funding studies for public sector development projects.
#enaconsulting: Development consulting services for businesses and organizations.
#enalocal: A space and activities for showcasing, tasting and developing agri-food and other local products.
#enalab: A space and activities dedicated to promoting innovative entrepreneurship and supporting local, youth and social enterprise.
Special mention was also made of the company's people, who are ena's comparative advantage and are mostly young economists, agronomists and engineers. He also explained how staff are selected at ena Development Consultants, and the particular traits, abilities and skills candidates need to have.
In closing, he set out the key points about the capacity of enterprise in today's economic reality and the new trend of startups, citing as an example ena's participation in the startup SciGen Technologies SA
