On May 7 and 8, the first JobFair took place in the city of Xanthi. ena Development Consultants was there, giving the two-day event its active support and demonstrating once again its mission to contribute to the business, economic and social development of Xanthi and the wider Region of Eastern Macedonia & Thrace in which it operates. ena's co-founder and Director of Strategic Planning and Development, Stavros Amoiras, presented the company's work and mission, while ena's support team was on hand to inform students and answer their questions.
The two-day Job Fair was organized at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Democritus University of Thrace by EESTEC LC Xanthi (Electrical Engineering STudents' European assoCiation), a branch of the pan-European, non-political, non-governmental and non-profit student organization.
The goal of the JobFair was to create a first point of contact between students and the job market and to ease the transition from academia to the workplace. Over the two days there were company presentations, soft skills trainings, interviews and many other activities aimed at properly equipping participants to start their professional careers.
